Day 48 – 17 February

Has Spring sprung? I’m making the most of what I expect to be one of my last few shifts at Hammersmith cabin. I don’t have much longer until I’ll never walk this ramp again, so I’m making it count! The shift itself was nothing special, but it’s also important to remember the mundane days when it’s gone. That’s what I spend most of my time doing, just stroking forward and back.

Also, they seem to have finally started work on refurbishing the station footbridge, which has been in the offing for nearly two years now. Yes, really!

Where after work, with this glorious weather? I might go on a little bit of a railway adventure for a new project, or maybe I can find somewhere to relax—perhaps a pub?

Or I could just go for some retail therapy at Westfield…
